Richie Smith is the Director of Motor Carrier Logistics at Perdue Logistics. Richie has almost four decades of experience in transportation, twenty years of which he’s spent in various roles at Perdue. Over the course of his career, Richie has managed everything from a fleet of refrigerated trucks to a regional LTL company to a large brokerage firm. His diverse background gives him unmatched expertise in the field, which he brings to his current role. Richie is a Delaware native and still resides there with his wife. When they aren’t spending time with their four adult daughters, they are busy keeping up with their rescue Labrador puppy.
Alice Adkins is a freight broker at Perdue Logistics. She has almost 30 years in the transportation industry and has a breadth of knowledge and experience with freight of all kinds. She is a pro at handling van, reefer, flatbed, LTL, drayage, and bulk loads. Over the course of her career, Alice has held a variety of roles ranging from dispatching trucks to team manager to brokerage manager to freight broker. Alice lives on the eastern shore with her husband and rescue dog. In her free time she enjoys golfing, going to the beach, and spending time with her three children and grandchildren. She is very involved as an Auxiliary member with the local fire department and the American Legion fundraising to support local veterans.
Justin Abbott, Freight Brokerage Manager at Perdue Logistics, has been around trucking his entire life. He has been a part of the Perdue team for over 12 years, dispatching everything from dressed poultry to local grain. Prior to that, he worked at his family’s tractor trailer dealership and managed a warehouse for a large convenience store chain. Justin is a graduate of Penn State University and lives in Delaware with his wife and their three children. Outside of work, Justin is an avid drag racer.
